Hello readers! I am Hannah Wong, the Editor-in-Chief and director of the United Magazine 2023-2024. When I first took on the role of Editor-in-Chief of the 2023-2024 United Magazine, I was beyond thrilled to be able to continue this project, but also nervous about providing the same quality as the ones before. However, it is safe to say that I am beyond proud of all the hard work and dedication that everyone has put in.

As a legacy project, United Magazine was established in 2013, and is Sha Tin College’s annual bilingual magazine. Built on a foundation of creativity and imagination, the works included in here expressively showcases the students’ willingness to step out of their comfort zone and explore their passions. Central to the driving ethos of the magazine is the celebration of bilingualism, creative liberty and the showcase of students’ literary and artistic gifts.

This year’s theme, after much deliberation, was ‘Morality’ - a topic that whilst well known, has a multitude of different interpretations and meanings. This magazine hopes to bring a new level of insight towards what perspectives students here at STC have on such a topic.

I am incredibly grateful towards the leadership team and would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Ms Yang, the supervisor who guided and supported us throughout the whole process. Being the Editor-in-Chief has truly been a rewarding and fruitful experience, and I hope that you all see our efforts reflected in each and every page.
